1 All categories of scholarship/assistance grants/aid will be awarded on the basis of merit. A minimum score of 60% in the aggregate and 75% in attendance in the current year is essential for qualifying a merit scholarship. The attendance clause will not be applicable on the students admitted afresh. However, the determination of merit for needy/BPL cases would depend upon the yearly income of parents/guardians. The scholarship amount would generally be released at the end of the semester beginning July every year. 2 ATKT category students are not entitled for scholarships and economic assistance. 3 Student may get scholarship/assistance from one source only. If it is noticed that a student is availing scholarship/assistance from two sources simultaneously then he/she will have to remit back the sum received from the IEHE. 4 Scholarships would be awarded on a yearly basis. However, scholarship holders of previous years are entitled to apply afresh for the grant of scholarship in subsequent years. 5 The final award of scholarship/assistance would be decided by a committee constituted by the Director of the IEHE. 6 Any deviation from rules in what is stated above will solely depend on the discretion of the Director.
