Every year the department organizes a fest-‘Eco-FROLIC" to make the students learn the facets of Economics and enhance their managerial skills through various fun-based activities.

RESEARCH CENTRE- A research centre was established by the Barkatullah University in the institute in the year 2017-18 for the students of Economics to undertake various research activities and facilitate the PhD work

INDUSTRIAL VISITS- To give the practical exposure to the students, they are sent to the various corporates and industries time to time.

JOB TRAININGS- To make the students of B.A. final year industry-friendly and make them aware about the basic functioning of the organizations, they are sent for a 45-day training in the month of May-June.

SELECTIONS OF STUDENTS IN COMPETITVE EXAMS- Many students of the department were selected in MPPSC, UPSC, NET, SET, SLAT, PO and other national level examinations.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION OF STUDENTS- Kopal Shrivastava of B.A. final participated in AIVSC, RDC-2018 (Rajpata, Hall of Fame, NCC) and Aakriti S. Baghel of B.A. final cadet of Air Sqn NCC Bhopal attended Republic Day Parade practice 2020.
